  1. I got a call from Bowie’s people in London, asking me if I wanted to join the tour as a roadie in January of 1977.
I had recently gotten married in Dec of 1976, so I had to ask my wife.
She said “ Go! You have never traveled anywhere.”
So, I met the band in Toronto, and the rest was an amazing journey of various tours and world travel, including Isolar II, Bowie’s Heroes Tour.
BTW Ricky Gardiner was an amazing talent and super cordial! Cheers! Jan
